R1 million from Foreigner Enjoy Life app users
There are more than 10.4 million tourists on holiday per year in South Africa and we believe with the correct media campaigns that they will donate to help children and patients
Tourists will be informed that South African companies stand together to assist our government who do their best to support a large number of South Africans with social grants. We go the extra mile to help people in frail care and children in distress. Our Rand/dollar exchange rate make it affordable for tourists to make in their mind small donations.
Most foreigners will not load an South African Organization onto their internet banking platforms. It is therefore difficult to collect donations from foreigners.
The Enjoy Life app enables foreigners to give cash to the waiters at restaurants. Same as how they would tip the waiter. The restaurants will then pay the funds over to the Foundation.
We might reach R1 million with the correct media campaigns behind the project (10 000 tourists donate on average R100).
We believe that 1 000 foreigners will definitely help the Homecare Foundation to support Child Protection services and bedridden patients.
