a) Homecare Marketing team
The Homecare team will use social media to introduce the app. We will also use printed media in partnership with other companies to inform the public about the Enjoy Life app (Explained later on this page). Furthermore, we will advertise on radio to inform the public about the Foundation, the Enjoy Life app how restaurants and fast-food businesses offer special deals to assist the patients.
At this moment, the Homecare board is busy to negotiate with Spar branches and our intention is to include Spar Head offices as well. We negotiate with Spar business owners at branch level to join the group. We are confident that we will succeed to include Spar as group nationally.
We however, need to take all possibilities into consideration. It might be that we do not find a Spar business owner in our designated target areas to partner with us. If that happens, we will to protect the project and to assist caretakers negotiate with a food supplier representing another brand. We are going to set-up the food company network!
The Homecare board is already in process to find and employ people who will represent the Foundation with national media campaigns. We prepare for TV talk shows and we therefore need to employ people representing the nation with regards to racial classifications.
We are going to approach all the TV talk shows to inform the public about this Huge project that will help bedridden patients, via a positive structure. We know that TV shows are looking for community driven content where they can inform their viewers about positive contributions towards our country. This project will be news worthy in their view.
Our objective is to arrange interviews on the following talk shows:
1. Morning Live (SABC 2)
2. Sunrise (E-tv)
3. Expresso (SABC 3)
4. Dagbreek (Kyknet)
5. Ontbyt Sake (Kyknet weekends)
We also think it will be possible to get Carte Blanch to interview our media representatives. The country needs to know that South Africans can team up to support the most vulnerable via technology.
We might decide to do television advertisements combined with “press
release media campaigns”. We will ask all the companies involved to donate a once off fee of R1 000 if we decide on a television advertisement campaign.
Certain role players, for example Spar Head office who we target for the Food supplying industry, might be requested to make larger contributions. We have the responsibility towards patients to ensure that the Enjoy Life app is functional. We will therefore go the extra mile if needed.
If we fail in our attempt to involve Spar as a group on a national level, we will still do talk shows and just inform the public that our food company partners are well chosen and they are managed and owned by exceptional people who do a lot for their communities. The Enjoy Life phone app will inform users exactly which companies (might be a Pick-n-Pay in one area, a Spar in another etc.) are business partners and that all the patients and caretakers will appreciate it if the public can support our “key business partners”
We are in a fortunate position that thousands of companies will benefit via the Enjoy Life app and we can therefore commit to restaurateurs that the Enjoy Life app will have the best possible distribution plan that will be managed to ensure success.
