The Riverside Cottages at La Bourgogne, which date back to 1952, are situated in a serene garden setting on the banks of the river between a pear orchard to the west and oaks and willows to the east. The glow of sunset colours on the Middagkrans Mountains, framed by the trees, is spectacular.
La Bourgogne is situated 5 km outside Franschhoek. Franschhoek is a town in South Africa’s Western Cape with centuries-old vineyards and Cape Dutch architecture. Trails wind through flowers and wildlife at Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve to views over Franschhoek Valley. The Huguenot Memorial Museum and neighboring monument honor the area’s French settlers, who arrived in the 17th and 18th centuries. Franschhoek Motor Museum displays vintage cars amid mountain farmland.
Zulu Nyala Safari Game Lodge
Zulu Nyala Safari Game Lodge is a Private Game Reserve that provides a unique bush experience in the heart of one of South Africa’s most diverse conservation regions.
The lodge is nestled between the wilderness reserves of Mkuze, Hluhluwe, St Lucia and Sodwana Bay, this lush stretch of paradise is home to a wide variety of game, from the majestic elephant to rhino, buffalo, hippo, giraffe, the secretive leopard and cheetah and the shy Nyala antelope that are endemic to the region.
* Winner can choose any destination, book the period he/she and the number of guests would like to go on holiday. The costs will be covered to a maximum amount of R 100 000. The balance not used will be paid out in Cash.
You will receive 1 point for every R1 you donate. Participants also earn points when they purchase digital vouchers that you can use to buy your own groceries. The points are different depending on which food company you purchased vouchers from. Participants will be updated via SMS on the number of points accumulated. A point = 1 entry. The more points the participant has, the better chances of winning the competition. Winner will be selected via a Lucky draw system. Competition closes on 31 December 2019.

The Homecare Foundation develops the Enjoy Life phone app that will enable us to raise small amounts from thousands of South Africans, without them paying for any donations personally. These small donations will help feed bedridden patients and will also help child protection organizations protect vulnerable children.
The Homecare Foundation negotiates with food supplying companies to help us in future. We want to implement a system where we can use the Enjoy Life app technology to monitor that caretakers of patients buy groceries and not items such as alcohol or cigarettes.
To prevent people from buying unwanted items, we decided that it will be better if the Homecare Foundation can issue a caretaker vouchers to purchase groceries, instead of paying funds into the caretaker’s bank account. This will help to ensure that the funds we raise is utilized for the cause.
We ask readers to support us. We raise funds when you purchase your own groceries via Digital Vouchers and Gift Cards.
Once you have registered, you will receive an e-mail that explains in detail how you can purchase vouchers and where you can use these vouchers. We already negotiated digital voucher support from all the major food companies in South Africa.
